Stars for the Fourth of July

Look at what we found at the thrift store the other day! This beautifully hand stitched piece was already partially cut up, so I didn't feel any guilt what so ever when I separated the rest of the blocks from the (pretty shredded and stained) background. 

I guess I had July 4th in mind when I saw the blue stars. I think they would make adorable pillows, or a fun book bag.  Maybe place mats for a fun occasion. They are available in my shop here.

SPRING IS HERE!

These are some wild flowers that are in the yard. We love the colors of purple and yellow together. What  a wonderful spring welcome.

Spring has sprung, bunnies have come to frolic and play and spend the day. Oh, how they love the desert wild flowers too.                                  

Oh look................. the bunny has found some eggs. Perhaps we can paint them later. What colors shall we use?

After a busy day, a nice rest on a shady bench, some iced tea for me and some carrot juice for you. Here's to new beginnings for all.
